Tylar Lundeen graduated from Lake Superior College with an Associate’s degree and went on to graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Superior with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a minor in Business Administration with a focus in Management.
For the last two years, Tylar has been working as the Corporate & Government Sales Manager at a hotel in the Twin Cities area. The hotel includes over 250 rooms, and 6,400 square feet of banquet space, as well as a full-service restaurant. Tylar’s duties include not only selling the hotels unique features to potential new clients, but he is also involved in the maintenance of following up with all corporate and government clients after events and stays at the hotel.
Tylar’s current clients range from small business with less than 50 employees to Fortune 500 clients with thousands of employees, as well as top Minnesota government agencies. Tylar is also a member of the Global Travel Associations North Central Chapter and participates in the Twin Cities Chamber North Events on behalf of the hotel.
Tylar’s event experience was built from the ground up. He has been in the event industry since 2009, helping his father, Tracy Lundeen, at all of The Lundeen Group events from the time he was a pre-teen. As a young adult Tylar worked for the Blackwoods’s Group, a premier event venue in Duluth Minnesota. Tylar started at an entry-level, setting up rooms for events, and moved up to serving/bartending the events as well as offsite catering. His strong work effort and attitude lead him to working in front and back of the house operations for both Hilton and Carlson (Radisson) Hotels.
Tylar is an energetic, go-getter with knack for sales and building strong relationships with clients.
